On the weekend of 21 and 22 March 2026, Shery Tour organised a charity event in support of the Mountain Rescue Service, Borovets team, the people who are there when the mountain turns harsh and someone needs help. This was not simply an event, but a real proof of the strength of the community that brings together friends and all who love the mountains.
It is thanks to you, our friends, clients and kindred spirits, that we managed to raise funds for almost all of the necessary medical and rescue equipment. Every one of you contributed with a donation, with your presence, with your support. These are not just funds, but real help that will give a chance for a faster response, safer rescues and lives saved.
We want to thank all of you from the heart. You proved that when we are together, we can do real good. That behind Shery Tour stands not just an organisation, but a community of people with big hearts. The mountains give us so much, but they also demand our responsibility. Let us be more careful, more prepared and more caring towards one another.
For me personally, this event is something much more. It is a symbol of goodness, and the fact that I am sharing this news on my very birthday makes it even more special. It is the greatest gift I could have received.

The equipment reached the team
On 10 April 2026 our team visited the Mountain Rescue Service, Borovets team, to hand over the equipment purchased with the funds from the charity hike. Thanks to all of you, we were able to provide an oxygen bottle, two traction splints and two vacuum aspirators, equipment that will be of key importance in saving lives in the mountains. We also extend our sincere thanks to our colleague Milen Anastasov for his cooperation and support.
Our bigger goal remains: providing a transport sledge stretcher. That is why we turn to all mountaineers, hikers and people who care about the mountains. Let us join together and finish what we started, because when we are united, we can do real good.
